We didn’t just simulate different mic setups with digital trickery. Every sound you’ll blend was captured with real microphones in some of the world’s most iconic studios. We’re talking about legendary gear like Neumann M50 tube mics on a Decca Tree array — recorded and mixed by industry legends like Dennis Sands (four-time Academy Award nominee for Best Sound!)

In short: it’s the real deal.

We also took Musio beyond the traditional studio, traveling to places like Reykjavík, Iceland, and Cape Town, South Africa to record culturally rich sounds in their natural acoustic spaces. Every mic position you explore reflects the true depth and character of the environment it was recorded in.
